Refund policy

Who is behind this. Casewright is built and maintained by an individual developer, not a company. There is no legal entity, no support organisation, and no service-level commitment. The software is provided as-is, you run it on infrastructure you control, and if the author stops working on it you keep the version you installed. Payments, if any, are handled by a third-party merchant of record — the author does not process or store card details.

Try it before you buy it. A working demo runs the whole product with synthetic data — the same case desk, the same evidence handling, the same frozen packets. Nothing is held back. Because you can see exactly what you are getting before paying, purchases are not refundable once the download has been made available to you.

That is not a technicality about digital goods. Software cannot be handed back: a refund after download leaves you with a working copy, and any policy pretending otherwise would be theatre. The demo is what makes this fair, so use it first and take as long as you like.

If it does not run. Write to support. A licence that will not activate, a build that will not start on a supported environment, a fault that makes the product unusable — these get sorted out, and if they cannot be, they get refunded. The policy above is about changing your mind, not about being left with something broken.

Card disputes.Payments are handled by a third-party merchant of record who is the seller on the receipt. Their own policy and your card issuer’s rules apply alongside this page, and in some jurisdictions a statutory withdrawal right applies to digital purchases unless you waived it at checkout. None of that is displaced by anything written here.

This policy applies to purchases made through our merchant of record.
